Cottage beautiful and clean. Surroundings are lovely and feel safe. The pool in Lazonby is a great play for my child and the Drove Pub has a great atmosphere and fantastic food. Our favourite autumn holiday. Lovely and cosy again. Recommend Village Bakery at Melmerby, Cranston's at Penrith, Millyard at Morland and Abrahams in George Fisher's at Keswick. All lovely food. Enjoyed 2 good walks Dalemain to Dacre and Castlerigg (which was apparently was 4 miles but felt like 8!!) nice and muddy but beautiful scenery. K, D & S R. Tyne & Wear (Ref: Mickledale October 2011)
